Tipping my hat to mommy for being the best!

If this is how babies act when they get shots
well then we are pretty lucky.  Porter had his 6
month well check-up today and he is doing great.
49th % in weight, 49th % head, and 52nd % in
length.  He also had a flu shot and was such a
big boy (cried for a split second before mommy
picked him up).

Porter getting a little revenge (not really).

Thanks Grandma Lisa for my Colorado Rockies
onesie and booties.  Even though it is purple
I still manage to look handsome in it.  We can't
wait to go see a Rockies game next year.  I will
probably need a new shirt by then.

I visited daddy's school today for the craft
fair.  I was a big hit and such a good boy.
Everyone commented on my rosy cheeks and
big smile.  I am kind of great.

The only thing better than standing
up is standing up with no clothes on.
He is getting so big.  6 months old now.
My, how time flies when you are
having fun!

Porter loves him some Jennifer

Our weekend was very nice.  Porter enjoyed
eating prunes (he intentionally makes a mess
with the messiest possible baby food).  He had
a wonderful time with dad on Saturday while
Meredith and I had a pretty darn good time
getting our hair cut, eating lunch and watching
a movie.  Sunday we went to Wal-Mart  where
Porter rode in the cart for first time, saw some fish
(loved them), got in a diesel truck and made his first
donation to toys for tots.  Porter picked out a fisher
price hammer to donate to a fellow 6 month old.
How very nice of him.

We have had a great past few weeks.  Porter now
sits up on his own, rolls all over the floor, plays
endlessly with toys, and eats baby food daily.
He has tried carrots, peas, sweet potatoes,
green beans, squash, and bananas.  He loves
green beans and squash (who would have
thought).  He even thinks he is big enough
to feed himself.
