Our personal favorite gift

A COFFEE TABLE. YEA!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My cool husband

We don't have a fireplace for Santa to enter through so Chris drew one so that we made sure Santa came to visit Porter. It is the coolest thing and Porter loves the Grinch movie and book so we have enjoyed it immensely. What a cool dude it is I am married to.

Our Christmas at home 2010

Porter asked Santa for Toy Story stuff this year so that is a lot of what he got. We had a great morning and loved seeing our little man enjoying the Christmas spirit.

Iowa Christmas 2010

We had an amazing Christmas with Porter and the rest of the Kimble's. The little Kimble's liked playing the dancing Wii game and Chris really liked his Skull Snuggie he received from Alex.

Christmas Tree decorating

We had Grandpa, Grandma and Great Grandma over for tree decorating. We watched The Grinch, played, decorated the tree and ate pizza. Great Grandma gave Porter a gold spider decoration she made and read him a story about the spider, Porter helped Grandma Shirl decorate a little tree, and Porter helped Grandpa Harvey do whatever it is he does with the Christmas lights (it wouldn't be Christmas if Harvey wasn't elbow deep in lights at some point-this year he had a helper). We now have a cute tree decorated and we are all so excited for Christmas.

First Kimble Christmas tree cutdown

We went to a tree farm today to cut down our first Christmas together. We got a great tree that we all agreed on (although Porter wanted one in his size that you can see below). It was fun but bitter cold. Poor Porter asked to be carried because it was so cold, which is very unlike him. Fun was had by all and we can't wait to do it again next year.

Aunt Mary's

We finally got to meet baby Leah, who is a doll. Porter really likes the baby, his great Aunt Mary and cousins Matt and Kelley. It is always so good to see that side of the family. Thank you Aunt Mary for the wonderful lunch. She serves up a mean batch of macaroni and cheese.

Yeeeee-Haaaawwwww

Yee-haw cowboy. There is a snake in my boot. Porter showed off his cowboy side at Grandma and Grandpa Kimble's. We had a fun night of Chinese, horse riding and, of course, dancing. Soda even got to tango with Shirley. It was fun but everything always is with Porter around.
