Let the Wookie Win

C3p0

Halloween 2010 starring C3p0

It was a good night had by all. Porter ran from house to house to say trick-or-treat and tell a joke. Grandpa stayed behind and handed out candy while Chris, Porter, Shirley and I went trick-or-treating. Porter was very cute and brave. We learned that next year we will need to buy a lot more candy because our neighborhood is quite a happening place on Halloween. We had to close up shop at 7:15 because we ran out of candy.

The finished product

Chris carved a Darth Vadar pumpkin for Porter and Grandpa carved the classic Jack-o-lantern. Good job guys.

Pumpkin decorating carving

Chris and Harvey carved pumpkins while Porter painted and colored one. Porter had his serious face on while painting his pumpkin but then went back to his silly, fun self when we pulled out the play-doh. He and Grandma had fun with the Play-Doh. Silly Grandma made a foot with toes out of play-doh that Porter liked a lot. He made me tell him a bedtime story about a play-doh foot.

Let the Halloween Festivities begin

Harvey and Shirley came over to our neck of the woods to go to the parade of trick-or-treators in Valley Junction. Our C3p0 was a lot of fun to watch and he was a big hit with everyone. C3p0 liked saying, "let the wookie win," which was about the cutest thing a 2 year old C3p0 could say to a stranger. We even ran into 2 of Porter's friends, the dinosaur and a fairy. Finished the night off with dinner and pumpkin carving and painting with Grandma and Grandpa.

pumpkin patch from dad's camera

Or should I say Pumpkin Hatch

Howells Pumpkin Patch year 2

We met our friends at the pumpkin patch. Porter and Mira had a good time seeing all of the pumpkins, riding around in the corn with their dads', playing in the corn (their favorite), riding on the tractor and so many other cool things. Life is so wonderful with a 2 year old.

Bronco Jersey

Grandma Lisa bought Porter a Bronco's Jersey to level out his wardrobe. He looks might cute in the orange. It took us a while to convince him to put it on but once he did he liked it. He can be a broncoing Chief, right?

Found a neat park on the way home from KC

We made a pit stop in Lamoni and found a cute park to burn off some energy. Porter came across a kitten that wanted to play with him so badly. You would have thought that it was a Lion with how scared Porter was of it. The kitty kept pawing at Porter's legs and it freaked him out. I thought it was cute, Porter did not. "NO KITTY."

KC: Cousins Ali and TJ

Porter was excited to see his cousins and very excited to play with TJ's outdoor toys. He hopped right on the motorized Lightning McQueen and took off through the yard. He even took TJ for a spin. We miss them already.

LKansas City part 3: Big Helper

Porter loves helping out in the yard. He helped Grandma Lisa water the plants and helped Grandpa Dave fill his yard tools with gas.
