We all got to see Chris new school today.  Very impressive brand new high school.  Porter especially enjoyed playing in the art rooms, running the empty halls and throwing a football.  He wasn't too enthusiastic about the elevator ride.

another Kimble nacho picture.

The only thing Porter did not like about the Fair was meeting Clifford The Big Red Dog.  Go figure... he wanted to play with a 2000 pound Clydesdale horse but was afraid of a 5 foot red dog.  And, of course, the fair wouldn't have been the fair without a eating a corn dog or 2.

Iowa State Fair

Porter went to the Iowa State Fair for the first time today and boy was it enjoyable.  He loved the animals (especially the goats) and wasn't the least bit afraid to pet any of them.  He loved all the action going on and is so friendly with people.  He would say "hi" and "bye" and wave to people as they went by.  He especially enjoyed running around and seeing the goats and the VERY LARGE clydesdale horses.  He stuck his hand right in the horses cage to pet it.  It was great.

Porter had to say goodbye to Uncle Alex tonight.  He even waved and said bye-bye.  Broke my heart.  But we wish Alex all the luck in Abu Dhabi.  We will miss you.  See you in a year.

Porter's first Iowa Cubs game at Principal Park. Great fun!

Grandpa and Grandma Partelow visited from KC and Porter had a blast.  He showed off for them and they ate it up.  Porter loves living closer to the grandparents and so do we.

PK enjoying his new sandbox

One of his favorite things in the world.

Porter feeding ducks/geese for the first time with Grandma.  He loved them.
