Fishing with Papa

Porter got to try his hand at fishing for the first time. He really enjoyed it and Papa Dave did a great job teaching him. Maybe next time we will catch something other than moss (although if you ask Porter, he would tell you he caught a fish).

Visiting grandparents in KC

Porter and I had a great time visiting Papa Dave & Grandma Yisa in Kansas City. Porter loved his birthday presents from them and just had a grand time playing at their house. If only, we lived closer... Thank you guys for a great visit.

Uncle Trent's graduation

Porter and I were able to make it to KC for Trent's graduation. we really enjoyed watching him walk across the state (even if we had to watch it from a big screen--due to bad weather). We are so proud of him.

Birthday party

Porter is 3. Yea!

Porter had a fun filled 3rd birthday. Mom and Dad took the day off of work to celebrate the world's best boy's birthday. We took him to his favorite donut shop for blueberry donuts, went to the science center, and went to Grandma & Crawpa's for Lemon birthday cake and presents. Saturday we had a birthday party for Porter and all of his friends came. It was so great to see Porter excited for his friends coming to his house. The party went over really well and fun was had by all.

May Day Baskets

Porter learned all about the May Day basket tradition this year. We made May baskets for Daddy, the neighbor, Patsy and Grandma & Grandpa Kimble. He had a lot of fun eating the popcorn that was supposed to go in the baskets and decorating his basket cup. But, as any experienced May-Dayer would say, the best part was getting chased by the recipients. We can't wait to do it again next year.

Swim Class

Porter and mommy are taking a 5 week swim class at our local YMCA. Porter is a natural swimmer and loved being in the water. After we graduate from this class we can sign up for 3 year old class where he will be 1-on-1 with an instructor. Great times!
